Area Information:

*Situated in the Kosi Bay Nature Reserve within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park this is a nature lover's paradise just south of the Mozambique border
*Kosi Forest Lodge is situated in a low-risk malaria area
*The Lodge offers guests the unique opportunity of exploring a pristine wetland environment in guided canoes and vehicles.
*Home to the Palm Nut Vulture and Pel's Fishing Owl, the area can be explored by keen birders at their leisure. noted by our guests as one of the highlights of a visit.
*The last 9km are on dune roads and can only be accessed by 4x4 vehicles. Guests travelling in a two-wheel drive will be able to park their vehicles at a safe parking area in Manguzi (KwaNgwanase) and be transferred by lodge vehicle
*There are two transfer times daily 12h00 and 16h00.
*The transfers have to be booked when confirming your reservation.
*The transfer time is approximately 25 minutes and is at an additional charge. Kosi Forest Lodge is a 45-minute - 1-hour drive from the beach.

A fabulous 40th wedding anniversary treat! We were treated like royalty by the staff. The food was fabulous and the canoe trip with George through a magnificent forest where we saw 6 Narina Trogons will be 1 of the highlights! A birdlovers dream spot ! Thank you
