Thwane Bush Camp is nestled in the hills of the Vredefort Dome World Heritage Site, approximately 12 km from Vredefort and 17 km from Parys. You will find Thwane Bush Camp an exclusive Safari-style tented camp offering comfortable and affordable accommodation for up to 72 guests. Situated on a bushveld farm with a variety of game such as wildebeest, blesbuck, red hartebeest, zebra, springbuck etc.
Centrally situated between Gauteng, Free State and North West Province, Thwane Bush Camp is 2 hours drive away from Pretoria in the North and only 90 minutes from Johannesburg. Thwane Bush Camp is also perfectly situated close to Klerksdorp and Potchefstroom in the West and Welkom/Kroonstad in the South.
Parys offers a variety of restaurants, art galleries, antique shops, cafes, golf courses and water related activities.

Wonderful ! A fantastic stay. Well run very clean. Will be returning, home away from home. Highly recommended. Excellent hiking trails. Host was very accommodating and friendly. Thank you to all.
Ek wil net aan al die personeel dankie se! Dit was 'n ongelooflike week van vars lug, rustigheid.
Alles was netjies en skoon, het te alle tye warm water gehad. Daar is 'n klein winkeltjie as jy iets vergeet het.
Ons gaan definitief weer in die somer daar kamp.
Twhane Bush Camp is not only a place to stay, it is an experience! The peace, serenity and quietness gives rest to body and soul.
The tent accommodation is very comfortable. We enjoyed every minute of being there.

Comfortable accommodation. Great experience overall. Will need a 2x4 to get to the place. Fortunately my Hyundai i20 put on a tough face and got us over the hills...
Great alternative to camping! White linen, beds and pillows way more comfortable than air mattress.We had a great time with our mountain bikes and did a lot of hiking. Beautiful farm, very friendly staff and super neat and clean accommodation! Will definitely be back.
Much better than I thought it would be when I booked. Really enjoyed my time and the service is great. Quiet and relaxed the whole weekend. Will see me much more of me!!
