You will find Rainbow Lodge to be an enchanting jewel situated in the heart of the Highlands Meander, a beautiful part of Mpumalanga, noted for it’s clear streams, lakes and breathtaking scenery.
Rainbow lodge is the ideal getaway for couples who are seeking a romantic weekend away or the whole family in need of a break from the hustle and bustle of the city to a beautiful tranquil environment. Rainbow lodge is only 10km from the N1 highway and close to the very popular country town of Dullstroom.

What a wonderful experience we had. The place is very beautiful and refreshing. We wanted to get away from the busy city life and it was the perfect place to do that. Thank you to the host (Sledge), he was very wonderful and attentive. We definitely going back and for a longer stay.
Very nice peaceful relaxing area, if you don't want any noise, then this is the place. We stayed in No 5 and it was an lovely log cabin, nice and cosy. Thank you to the host.

A beautiful farm with lovely gardens, dams and walks in the surrounding forests. The accommodation is comfortable but basic. Guests need to know that refrigerator space is limited and the cottages we occupied (Nos. 3 & 4 ) did not have ovens. This only caused difficulties if you have meals planned for that style cooking and are staying for a longer period - our family were there for 4 nights. Overall a very relaxing stay and our dogs loved every minute.
Fantastic weekend getaway! Hospitality was second to none and the cottage was clean, well maintained and perfectly equipped for all self catering needs. Will gladly go back again. Will just confirm whether the trout dam is stocked beforehand next time.
