Kamberg Mountain Shadows sits in the Kamberg Valley along Highmoor road, bordering on the Little Mooi River, just a few kilometres short of the Highmoor Reserve. Previously known as Mountain Shadows, the property was purchased in early 2017 and the new owners decided it needed more than a splash of paint and tidy up. After nearly a year of new building works with additional accommodation and a new restaurant for our local customers (including those guests not wanting to prepare all their own meals).
In Room Facilities:
The cottages all have fireplaces to keep you warm in the cool evenings and all are self-catering, fitted out with the necessary equipment to prepare and serve your own food. Beds and linen are all fresh and new which together with the redecoration has made these cottages quite special. Verandas are tastefully laid out with privacy and comfit in mind. A barbeque is provided for your use and wood or charcoal is available through reception.
As we are located in the Central Drakensberg area there is good access to a large number of activities all within easy access of Mountain Shadows or by car.
Fat Harry's pub is adjacent the restaurant and has DSTV with sport, movie and music channels to pass the time away. Slip in for an afternoon of a cold beer and take in the ambiance and stunning views of Cleopatra and Mount Lebanon
