Cana Lodge is located in Upington, the Northern Cape, surrounded by vineyards, on the banks of the Orange River. Ideal for the holiday traveler and business travelers.
Accommodation is offered in 11 comfortable rooms that were named after grape cultivars. Each room is fitted with a double bed and a private bathroom. The Family Units can accommodate 4 guests, it is fitted with a double bed and twin single beds in the loft. In-room facilities include: bath towels, air-conditioning, a bar fridge, a TV with DStv and tea and coffee facilities. The rooms open onto a lovely patio and they are serviced daily. Breakfast is included and there is free WiFi in the communal area. Off-street parking is available behind electronic gates.
Nearby attractions and activities: visiting the Kalahari-Oranje Museum, canoeing on the Orange River, taking a sunset river cruise on Sakkie se Arkie, horse riding, fishing, cycling and wine tasting.

Great weather. Stayed at Modern Executive Apartment in Schröder street. Beautiful, peaceful and safe place. I enjoyed the friendly people of Upington and the nice restaurants. Mr D also delivered promptly. Will be back again.
Has everything you'd need to top up or get on your way to Namibia, Botswana, or the far west coast. Amazing stat-over options, and amazing people.

The people seem friendlier and more polite than the city folks. The atmosphere seems relatively low-stressed.
Great mall and friendly people in Upington.
Upington is one of my favorite towns in South Africa. It is pristine, clean, people are friendly and helpful. Lots of things to do. Plenty accommodation to choose from. A perfect stop-over to and from Namibia.
Good to visit my birth town and see the growth.
