Welcome to The Post House Hotel.
Situated just 90 minutes from Cape Town in the beautiful Overberg region, Greyton is home to the charming Post House. The Post House was originally constructed in 1860 and is one of the oldest buildings in Greyton.
The main building was used as a trading post and lodging for tired travellers. The Post House country pub, which is well known for the Bells whiskey advert, was also once Greyton’s post office.
The Post House offers guests a choice of 6 classic rooms, 7 Deluxe rooms, 1 honeymoon suite and 1 family unit. The rooms are tastefully decorated in countryside comfort with neutral tones and are all on-suite.

Greyton Reviews
Serene getaway, a moment away from Cape Town, great for a relaxing weekend of wine tasting, hiking and even mountain biking.
Great town!
Beautiful village in the mountains and wonderful people and scenery.
Beautiful, quaint little town nestled in the Overberg mountains. Perfect for a weekend getaway!
It is a beautiful, quiet town where you can rest, reset and enjoy nature - but with really good coffee and great little shops :)
Relaxed and quaint village with lots of outdoor activities, hiking, walking and mountain biking, birding or just strolling around the village or nature reserve.
We can walk everywhere.
Walking around town was very peaceful. I would love to do a trail walk on our next trip.
Greyton is a small, quaint and quiet village with lots to see and offer. A good selection of restaurants offering a range of cuisine options, coffee shops, galleries, Garden Centre, plus Greyton is ideal for outdoor adventures and adventurers. Many hiking and cycling trails, all marked and mapped, for the beginner to the advanced. An hour and a half from Cape Town, so an easy, beautiful drive, through the Overberg farmlands.
The town was extremely quiet.
