Reviews
I love the ambience. Very cute cottages, was a wet weekend, but we had enough wood to sit by the fire the whole weekend. We only had to take food and beverages. Overall an amazing experience. Will definitely be back to do some of the hikes.
Incredible location, top notch hosts, delicious wine, great for hikes, 4x4 track, mountain biking or just sitting on the veranda soaking in the ambience.
Lovely cottage. Scenic walks. Firewood and lighters provided with drinking water.Be prepared for dark dam water for washing. Very hospitable hosts.
We enjoyed our stay in this cosy cottage with the mountains as a back drop. Nature surrounded us with it calming effect. We enjoyed the lovely walks in the vineyards. Soul refreshing weekend if you love nature.
Beautiful farm with very neat cottages. Hosts provide ample firewood and the WiFi works well given the location.
Also quite a bit of gravel road to reach the cottages, so best to buy everything you need in Caledon or another town before checking in.
Swimming in the top dam is a must. We had a very windy week, but the dam is well sheltered.
Carefully read the check-in details to make sure you don't get lost. No cellphone reception in the area, so best to print it out.
Water is very brown and comes from the local dam and mountains, although drinkable I would advise bringing some additional fresh water.
Wonderful host with real farm experience.
All in all great stay, kids loved the stay.
Mountain trip was a real treat with western cape hospitality.
Will visit again🙂
Such an amazing place to stay, so peaceful and relaxing with the beautiful surrounds of the farm. Our hosts were exceptional and went out of their way to make our experience so memorable and enjoyable. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back with our friends!
A beautiful, well-appointed and charming cottage in the foothills. We will be back!
The stay was absolutely fantastic! The hospitality was wonderful and the privacy was welcome. The fact that there was very little signal was brilliant for a quiet weekend away. It is very far from town, however, so rather pack in everything you need. It's not someplace to visit and then want to go out to see sights.
We had such an incredible stay at the cottages. The cottages are quaint with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The views that surround you on the farm are just breathtaking and it’s hard to even explain. The owners were so accommodating and friendly and we were just blow away by everything. Definitely recommend this establishment and we will most certainly be back.

The peace and the relaxed away time.
Fabulous coffee and baked goods at the Ou Meul. Quaint town. Stanford inn was the most spectacular wedding venue!
