Die Hoenderhok and Die Plaashuisie is on a farm 12 km (only 1.5km gravel road)from Swellendam and 15 minutes' drive away. The old buildings are from the 1800's and restored to self-catering cottages.In Room Facilities:
Both cottages have a open plan living area/kitchen. There is a indoor and outdoor fireplace and TV. The kitchen are equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, stove plates, kettle, toaster and everything you need. The bathroom has a shower. Towels and bedding are included. The bedrooms are comfortable and cosy.We are geared for loadshedding with battery operated LED lights installed and gas cooking plate.Area Information:

Swellendam is a quaint little town, friendly people and plenty of unique coffee shops. The perfect destination for a short weekend vacation away form the busy city.
We popped in to Swellendam town on the way home for a delightful lunch off the main street.
