Moledi is an eight-suite sanctuary situated on one of the most picturesque, privately owned game farms, north of Magaliesburg in the North West Province, South Africa.
This uber-chic bush villa, built high on a cliff, has breathtaking views of an expansive gorge, which can be enjoyed from every angle.

The Moledi bush villa comprises seven deluxe suites and one presidential suite. Each suite is individually decorated and has floor to ceiling glass doors that offer magnificent views over a private balcony.
The villa has one presidential suite with an open plan bathroom, lounge,
private deck and swimming pool.
The Main lodge offers guests the following, open plan lounge, dining area and bar, cliff view deck with long table and seated area, ‘Fire pit’ deck for sundowners, upper pool deck, infinity pool deck and outdoor shower. The lodge also has an entertainment room equipped typically utilized by our junior guests with DSTV, table tennis and games.
Moledi also has a intimate wine cellar with a private dining area.
We can accommodate conferences and have facilities of up to 20 guests.
We have a small one treatment room spa offering massage treatments and a steam room for detoxing and relaxation.
We also offer guests alfresco dining in one of the many outdoor dining areas.
Eg: our large boma which seats up to 30 pax, our mini boma for smaller groups, our hammock garden or our hilltop picnic spot to name a few.
Moledi Gorge is situated one and half hours drive away from the bustle of Johannesburg. En-route to Moledi Gorge you will pass the small village of Magaliesburg. This small village lies at the heart of a beautiful region of mountains, valleys, rivers and indigenous woodland and is home to a variety of birds.
Close by to Magaliesburg you will also be able to discover 'Maropeng' (the official visitor centre of the Cradle of Humankind) and the Sterkfontein Caves. Maropeng means “returning to the place of origin” in Setswana, the main indigenous language in this area of South Africa. Our ancestors have lived in this area for more than 3-million years. By coming here, you are coming to the birthplace of humanity.
In Room Facilities:
Seven premier suites come individually decorated with differently configured open plan bathrooms. Two of the deluxe suites have enclosed bathrooms. Each room has air-con, mini bar fridges and floor to ceiling glass doors that offer magnificent views over private balconies.
The Presidential Suite is the only one of its kind at Moledi. It has a private garden, deck and swimming pool. The suite also has floor to ceiling glass doors that offer magnificent views of the gorge.
Bill Harrops Balloon Safaris is a short distance from Moledi Gorge. On a typical balloon safari in the Magalies River Valley one can expect the following: A hot cup of tea, coffee and biscuits, served from the clubhouse pavilion prior to your flight at sunrise. The flight of about one hour over the Magalies River Valley which boasts some of the best ballooning weather in the world. A celebratory glass of sparkling wine on landing whilst the professional crew pack up the balloons.
