Beautiful setting and our room (Traveller Twin) was extremely comfortable and exactly as advertised.
Steve went out of his way to provide a king size bed and bedside lights.
The grounds are lovely, but guests need to be aware that this is not a hotel per se, and therefore, both restaurant and bar are only open between 09:00 and 16:00 hrs.
We arrived after these hours after a long drive, but were forced to drive on into Sedgefield to find supper which we had not expected! Lack of hotel facilities must be made clear on the site.

Enjoyed everything, the slow pace, nature, canoeing on the lake. The stay at Lake Pleasant was awesome! Will definitely return for a longer stay.
