Amazing house that is literally right on the beach. Very modern and immaculate. Diane was an amazing host and incredibly willing to assist with each and every detail. Would love to visit again.
Simply Magical. Contrary to a review in Jan 2018 which stated major privacy issues, our family found Diane's residence to be the best value for money beach house anyone could ask for. The beach house is situated inside a 24-hour access controlled security complex. The double garage and main entrance to the house falls inside the security complex and the beach access is a stones-throw away from a public beach by a locked gate. At no time did we feel as if our privacy was being invaded even with members of the public walking past. Security at this residence is top notch, with a fully functional alarm system to have the entire house "activated" while you're away or a fully functional wall-beam alarm system that can be activated if there's a need to move freely around the house during the day/night. This ensured that we were kept safe and had peace of mind. The entire house has easy to operate roller-blinds that can be closed fully when hosting an intimate family gathering at any time of the day or if you want to stay indoors to watch a movie instead. The sea-facing rooms upstairs felt like waking up to a sight in the movies, every day. Admiring the waves crashing in front of us, beautiful views and lovely sunsets. Having the option to leave your window blinds open to hear the tranquil sounds of waves crashing before you sleep, is the very reason why our stay was simply magical. Diane's is an extraordinary host who went out of her way to ensure that we were hosted in the best way possible. Diane was just a call away 24/7. Her spacious and stunning house, with all amenities and more, that one needs on holiday incl. WiFi, Netflix, air conditioners, and a gas stove that made it an effortless stay even during load shedding periods. The house is child-friendly and the direct access to the beach was beautiful. Great for long beach walks or to simply camp out in front of the house all day. This made it easier for the kids we had with us. Highly recommended and we will be back on our next holiday for a much longer period.
