Madikwe Game Reserve is a Malaria free area that provides an unrivaled safari experience with the opportunity to explore the pristine African bushveld. The wide diversity of habitat ranging from riverine thickets of the perennial Groot Marico river, large open plains, the steep cliffs of the Rant van Tweedepoort, Enselbergs and the Dwarsberg mountain range makes the Reserve unique.
Madikwe is home to the “Magnificent 7” namely the lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, black and white rhino, cheetah, brown and spotted hyena and Africas painted wolf- the Cape hunting dog. There are numerous species of antelope, giraffe, zebra and a host of other mammals that occur throughout the Reserve. Inkwe, which means ‘leopard’ in Tswana, is our original luxury bush lodge and spacious family home. Nestled amongst beautiful trees this home boasts its own large boma, an exclusive swimming pool, and a private watering hole. The lodge has three luxurious bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. The large kitchen is fully equipped.

Tlou has 2 beautiful bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom plus an outdoor shower. Ideally suited to two couples or a small family.
Tlou villa is elegantly furnished and fully equipped with a kitchen, living room, large patio, boma, and private splash pool. Tlou villa lends its name from the Tswana word for ‘elephant’.
An open boma fire can be lit in the evenings where you can sit around in style and enjoy a sundowner while looking up at the stars in the clear night sky.

Nare is a luxury villa designed for a couple looking for an intimate and romantic safari experience. Nare, which means ‘buffalo’ in Tswana, is a one-bedroom villa with a luxurious king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for your convenience.

Tshukudu, meaning ‘rhino’ in Tswana, is a privately situated all-inclusive one bedroom villa. This luxury villa is ideal for a couple looking for an idyllic and intimate safari experience.
The plush bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom. As with all our villas, Tshukudu is complete with a fully equipped kitchen, beautifully furnished living room, large patio and boma for wonderful open-air barbeques. In addition, you have your own splash pool and outdoor shower.

Rock Fig Lodge has a unique underground hide which gives photographers and enthusiasts the low angle they always strive for. The hide gives you the opportunity to watch wildlife while being immersed in the ground, with the animals unaware that you are there. The hide is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is fully equipped with red LED interior lights and comfortable seating ensuring you stay as long as you want to wait for that elusive leopard to walk by.
