Wild Iris @ Forest Valley offers accommodation in Knysna where you can enjoy cocooned seclusion and stunning views of deep indigenous forest valleys and mountains. From here you are only 8 mins from the Knysna Lagoon, by car, then a scenic drive around the lagoon to town, 15km from the centre of town, close to beaches and forests.
SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION
Wild Iris @ Forest Valley is a romantic cottage in Knysna sleeping two guests. The open plan cottage is furnished with a contemporary Queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, hand basin and WC.
The living area boasts a cosy fireplace, a TV with satellite channels and air-conditioning. The fully equipped kitchenette has everything required for your self catering stay. There is a spa bath off the living area that has its own doors to the deck.
The deck offers a table and chairs, hammock and a gas weber braai.
ON SITE FACILITIES
There is a plunge pool, which overlooks the magnificent views, for the use of all the guests. It's like a big Jacuzzi with aim flow jets and seating all around. And for the more active there is a forest trail from the cottages to the bottom of the valley.
When you book in you will find, we have set up the cottage beautifully for you, with petals on the bed, arrival tea and coffee / small chocolates / bath goodies / candles / some toilet stuff / firewood and charcoal with firelighters on the deck that you can buy / daily housekeeping service /some DStv / DVD / music system.
ACTIVITIES
Forest Valley Cottages has a tourist info board, in the office, with pamphlets to take and many things to do in the area, tree-top canopy tours, Elephant Park, Bungy jumping, ferry and yacht cruises on the lagoon, game park visits, horse riding, visit gold mines from 1800 close-by…are but a few.
