Le Domaine boasts with a Three Star Grading by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. These five fully equipped cottages are surrounded by orchards and have spectacular views of the town,mountains and blue skies. Montagu has a superb climate and plenty to do and it is the ideal breakaway from city living.
Each if the five fully equipped cottages has two bedrooms, one bathroom and can accommodate op to 6 people The cottages have open plan living rooms, TV and fully equipped kitchens with mini stove. Each cottage have its own lapa, undercover parking and security system.
Groups are welcome and one of the cottages is wheelchair friendly.
Montagu is situated on Route 62 only 2 hours drive from Cape Town. This peaceful town is steeped in history and famous for it's owe-inspiring rock formation, orchards, vineyards,local herbs and healing hot mineral Springs.
Visitors will discover our wildflower nature garden, bird sanctuaries, nature reserves, museums,art galleries,historic homes,lively hiking trails,4x4 and mountain bike rails and rock climbing opportunities. For the hungry there are numerous coffee shops and restaurants to choose from.

We were welcomed with a nice bottle of wine. Cottages beautiful and surroundings peaceful. Management came to check how we were doing and tended to all our needs. Would recommend it to anyone needing a break from the buzz of the city. Definitely coming back!!!! Special thanks to melanie mwah
What a wonderful experience at Le Domaine, such a comfortable cottage, with everything you could want or need, the bed and linen was superb, and the pool and beautifully kept garden was a delight.Will certainly stay over again!

The tranquility, historical few places, cleanliness and friendly inhabitants.
Came up to Montagu for a climbing course with Blue Mountain Adventures and stayed at the Tolhuis with two friends. It was just perfect. Firstly the location, it was only mere meters away from our first day's location for climbing , LEGOLAND. We could literally stop and walk up to our accommodation for a coffee and lunch break! The place itself was just perfect for the 3 of us. Great little braai area where we enjoyed our evenings and the place is simple and humble yet stylish! The hosts, Michelle, Ivan, and Jason their 6-month-old puppy were just very warm and accommodating. Thank you!
