Berghaven log cabin is situated in the picturesque Southern Drakensberg town of Underberg. This cosy cabin is the perfect place for a country retreat and has all you need for a great relaxing holiday.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, electric stove with oven, kettle, toaster and all the cutlery and crockery needed. The living area has comfortable seating and a fireplace for those cold winter evenings, as well as a TV with DSTV. There is braai facilities in the garden if a braai is on the menu.
The house offers 4 tastefully decorated bedrooms, two with lovely queen sized beds and both with full en-suite bathrooms. The 3rd bedroom, which leads off the main bedroom, has two single beds and shares the bathroom. The fourth bedroom is en-suite with an external entrance and has a double sleeper couch and 2 single beds.
All beds have a duvet, blanket and relevant linen. Towels are NOT provided, therefore please bring your own.
Each bedroom is equipped with a panel heater.

Tidy, clean, comfortable, good value.
What an awesome experience! Berghaven is a great place to stay. we were 8 adults and were very comfortable in the cabin. they are also pet friendly, which is a big ("well done") for me. The host, by name Sophie, is a great and friendly person. She followed our trip from Johburg on Friday and sent quite a few whatsapp's to find out if we still okay on the road. I mean really... she knows us from nowhere, but she wants to know if we travel safe. When we were near Underberg, she send me a message that there is no water in Underberg, but she left us containers with water on the veranda. When we arrived at the cabin, we found the water, but luckily for us, the water was restored on Saturday morning already. She arranged cleaning services for us without any hesitation. The log cabin was very clean and tidy and we really enjoyed our stay there. But the best of all is the hospitality of the host and her kindness. We will definitely book there again on out next trip and I will surely recommend BERGHAVEN and SOPHIE to all my friends. Thank you Sophie for your kindness and a lovely experience at Berghaven. We will see you again

Mountain views and the breath of fresh air
It's far enough away from all the hubub to really feel like you're away from it all but also has a lot available to do if you so wish. The scenery is beautiful and the air is fresh!
Hiking, swimming, relaxing.
If you're in to adventure, then Underberg is the place to visit. There's no shortage of trails for running, hiking and mountain biking. It's close to the Drakensberg and Sani Pass.
Breath-taking beautiful! Well stocked convenience store (Elands Rest) and a few nice restaurants to have coffee. Just very cold, even in Nov.
