Alternatively opt for our sister and next door property, Airlies Historical House, for a more traditional Karoo-heritage experience.
We have the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy a time of leisure around our pools and beautiful gardens, overlooking encompassing mountain views. Our prime spot on the historical Church street also means you can leisurely stroll to fine restaurants, art galleries, and museums.

The tranquility, historical few places, cleanliness and friendly inhabitants.
Came up to Montagu for a climbing course with Blue Mountain Adventures and stayed at the Tolhuis with two friends. It was just perfect. Firstly the location, it was only mere meters away from our first day's location for climbing , LEGOLAND. We could literally stop and walk up to our accommodation for a coffee and lunch break! The place itself was just perfect for the 3 of us. Great little braai area where we enjoyed our evenings and the place is simple and humble yet stylish! The hosts, Michelle, Ivan, and Jason their 6-month-old puppy were just very warm and accommodating. Thank you!
