Tortoni Guest Farm is conveniently situated between Maclear and Ugie on the R56. 800m from the turn off is the little oasis resting between the picturesque mountains of the Southern Drakensberg.
We have 4 cottages all with ensuite bathrooms. A family unit is available with 2 adjoining rooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen.
In the garden is a 'lapa' with braai facilities and a dining table with chairs for guests to enjoy.

What an awesome experience!!! From being welcomed by the grandchild of the hostess Sandra, skipping rope against the backdrop of the picturesque mountains, taking a walk to the dam and even playing with the dog - we had such a wonderful stay! I would highly recommend having the dinner - true "boere kos" and friendly conversation with the hostess. Going to bed with raindrops on the metal roof, and waking up to a fresh morning welcomed by beautiful birdsong was just what me and my husband needed travelling from Durban to Cradock for a wedding.
Fully stocked fridge in the room with reasonably priced items (even wine!), fresh farm milk and beautiful flowers from the garden - attention to detail and letting guests feel at home. Road going down to the farm was a challenge when driving a normal car - but only a small stretch.
