Nyala Safaris - consisting of 2 sister lodges situated in the Balule Private Game reserve, Mohlabetsi South Nature Reserve in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. The reserve forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park with no fences between Balule and Kruger Park.
In Room Facilities:The 5 large thatched rondavels can accommodate 10 guests. The rondavels at Nyala Safari Lodge are graciously decorated, each comprising an en-suite facility. Nyala Sands has 4 large thatched chalets which can accommodate 8 guests (no children under 12 allowed). Both have modern central kitchens - that are fully equipped - indoor & outdoor dining areas. Both can do self catering as well
Area Information:Both lodges are situated on the banks of the perennial Mohlabetsi River (meaning "sweet waters").
Property Facilities:A small swimming pool (swimming towels provided) surrounded by green lawn and shady trees at Nyala Safari Lodge and a central pool at Nyala Sands.
The fully serviced lodges provide an extraordinary adventure for nature lovers, where a tastefully decorated indoor lounge and outside dining - under thatch - overlooks the seasonal river bed and water-hole. An elevated wooden deck provides restful game viewing in the shade of the large Weeping Boer-bean overlooking the river bed and water-hole.
Two game drives a day introduce you to the beauty of the South African dusk and dawn and nature’s glory.
Experience magical sunsets on evening game drives, when, as dusk falls, a whole new world of nocturnal wildlife will enchant you as it comes to life.
Morning drives - Between 6:00 and 10:00 - depending on the weather & season.
Afternoon/Evening Drives - Between 15:30 and 20:00 - depending on weather & season.

The nature.
Morokologa game reserve, we spend our Christmas at the camp and we had a beautiful game drive and morning walks with my grandmother. Played games and reconnected as a family.
Most of Gold cabins- the weather - the sound of the birds-
Since we have family and old colleagues in Hoedspruit we enjoy everything. Love going to Hoedspruit for a weekend break away.
The quietness.
It’s a beautiful town which is easily accessible and has all the convenient shopping around the lodges nearby and one is able to do various activities around the area.
Privacy!
The town is very small yet beautiful and neat. It has lots of tourist attractions and good place to visit, just to unwind!

Sight seeing, Moholoholo Animal Rehab Centre, Blyde Canyon, Kruger Park, Cheetah and Endangered species project, Mariepskop viewpoint
