Our Guest flat, which comprises of the entire ground level of the 3 level log home, offers a private entrance, a large private terrace and a spacious living environment serving as an ideal base from which to explore our beautiful area or to just laze about. We offer guests comfortable and cosy self catering accommodation which is ideally situated in a quiet Cul du Sac in the small, yet popular, hamlet of Brenton on Sea.
The flat offers 1 bedroom with a double bed and en-suite walk-in shower and toilet. The well equipped, open plan kitchen, offers a fridge with freezer, induction cooking plate, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee plunger, cutlery & crockery.
The spacious living area is open plan to the kitchen and offers a large bar counter and chairs for easy dining. There are 2 comfortable couches for relaxing when reading or watching television. Standard as well as select DSTV channels are operated through the main house & a generous selection of DVD's are provided for Guests entertainment.
There are 2 restaurants, Nautilus South and Brenton Blu, as well as a Deli and Coffee Shop which are within walking or close driving distance, that offer a welcome alternative to self catering
Please note that our accommodation is non-smoking but ashtray’s are provided for guests whom are more than welcome to smoke on their private patio area which also offers outdoor table and chairs as well as a designated BBQ area to the side of the house.
There is an allocated parking bay for guests within the property with automated access control.
Pets are not permitted in our Guest flat.
Brenton on Sea is situated within the Knysna/Western Heads Conservancy, is just 15 minutes, by car, from Knysna town and boasts a beautiful stretch of pristine beach which has been awarded Blue Flag status in past years.
Our accommodation is within close walking distance from the Brenton Blue Butterfly Reserve, small secluded beaches, accessible just off the Fisherman’s Walk, 100 m in front of us, and a 5km stretch of beach ideal for long walks that stretch to Buffalo Bay and beyond. Guests can also enjoy a more leisurely walk along Fisherman’s walk along the Brenton Cliffs. Take time to sit on one of the many benches, along this walk, to just enjoy the views that stretch the length of rugged coastline.
This is a wonderful destination for the nature lover seeking a relaxed environment to return too after a day on the beach or after exploring the beautiful Garden Route.
Bushbuck, the Knysna Turaco (Loerie) and mongoose are often spotted in our garden and the surrounds and the bird life is exceptional. During the months from June to November the Southern Right whales visit our coastline and can often be spotted from our upper deck or Fisherman's Walk. Dolphin's are often spotted too..
