Arends Rus is a private and secluded Self Catering Lodge, located at Loskop Dam on a mountain top. We offer one of the most unique views of the Dam. Private, exclusive and owner operated farm atmosphere break-away. Very Affordable Self Catering Cozy Log Cabin accommodation, located on top of a mountain at Loskop Dam.
In Room Facilities:Log Cabins (1) Two private rooms with double beds each, all linen (bring own towels). Beautiful views over the dam. Kitchenette, Refrigerator. All amenities.
White Room (2) A private room available at the Main Log Cabin with private entrance and private bathroom. No self catering - room only with complementary tee, coffee, milk and sugar. Undercover parking.
Loskop Dam is a combined gravity & arch type dam located on the Olifants River, near Groblersdal, Mpumalanga, South Africa. It was established in 1939 and has been renovated in 1979. The dam is situated in the Loskop Dam Nature Reserve and it serves mainly for irrigation purposes.

I loved everything about our stay at Arends Rus! Breath taking views from the mountain top. The log cabin is gorgeous - comfortable, cozy, clean and neat. A very relaxing and quiet place to unwind from the city life. I will definitely visit again!
