We offer audacious travelers the ultimate glamping experience, by staying in our authentic wooden gypsy wagons so they can experience a taste of magical gypsy life, without having to travel far out of the city and without compromising on any of life’s luxuries.
Each hand crafted wooden Gypsy Wagon is unique with her own personality, colour scheme and finishing touches. They sit under majestic oak trees. From the outside they appear to be traditional wooden wagons, featuring hand carved and hand painted detailing. Although the interior is very similar to the traditional gypsy wagon with its raised bed, it is far more luxurious and caters for the modern traveler's every need.

Had such a charming stay at this gem of a venue — the gypsy caravans were well-equipped, service immaculate, and Sandy and Relay make a fantastic team. A relaxing and unique experience that will not be forgotten — thank you for the memories!
This was pure magic! We really enjoyed the gypsy experience! It was cosy and warm, throughout the below zero temperatures. In fact, I sometimes opened the stable door at night and early morning because it felt too hot. Cleaned and serviced every day, excellent service all around. Spotless and well maintained. It is meticulously planned, with amazing detail and tastefully decorated. I recommend it to anyone who needs a break from reality, I just decided that a 'vanilla' experience won't do it for me again. I appreciated all the planning and effort put into this magical place - THAT was the best part of my holiday. A change from the regular is the best part of your holiday, I believe that now. One thing, I don't think the wagons is suitable for the elderly, just my thoughts on it. For the daring and the adventurous....go for it!
Absolutely great experience, something totally different, a must do for all couples looking for that extra special above the norm romantic experience. Great host's as well.

Love the mountains for a nice hike.
A variety of restaurants and shops to explore.
We love exploring Golden Gate, wondering through the shops in the Town and visiting our favourite Clarens Brewery. We enjoy supporting the smaller farm restaurants in the area. Highland Brew was a lovely new addition to this trip.
Variety
Main roads to town are recommended for daylight use only. Small town atmosphere but with a wide variety of activities and stores. The annual Titanic Challenge Trail Run was my main attraction - stunning views!
Everything....food, quality of shops...felt safe...clean...friendly people....
Love all the shops and restaurants there is. Surrounded by mountains. Perfect breakaway for winter or summer.

Small, quaint, but very lively little town with spectacular views all around. Hiking is a must and can be done on the edge of town. We stayed at Views and the hiking trail was on our back door. Beautiful, beautiful little town offering great food, culture, entertainment and beautiful hiking trails.
