Guests can make use of the picnic spots, walk around on the farm, or to the dam. Other on-site facilities include bird watching, cycling, mountain biking, and a fishing dam is located within a 10 -minute walk or 3-minute drive from the cottage and is for the exclusive use of the guests. The dam is well stocked, and fishing is on a catch and release basis, but guests may keep one fish per day @ R 100.00 a fish. Pets are unfortunately not allowed.

Dullstroom-Emnotweni dates back to the early 1880's when Dutch Settlers made their way to the place of "eternal mist". The town is situated at 2100 m above sea level, making this one of the highest towns in the country. The architecture in the town is a mixture of 19th and 20th century building designs.

Dullsroom is a great little experience.. cute shops, nice restaurants and lovely accommodation. However..... no mention of Fox Hills when inquiring. And some reservation companies like Dullstroom reservations and Accommodation at Dullstroom were closed on a Sat at 3pm???
