Rhino Retreat Clarens is based in the heart of Clarens, the jewel of the Free State SA.Situated a mere 950m from the vibe of the town centre, but secluded enough to offer you a quiet retreat.With breathtaking views of Mount Horeb and the Maluti Mountains in Lesotho, you are bound to relax.
In Room Facilities:*Accommodation for 8 people. Two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (shower and bath in both). Main bedroom: Queen size bed
Second bedroom: Two single beds and a bunk bed
*Wi-Fi available.
*The downstairs lounge will accommodate two people on a comfy sleeper couch. *There is also a guest bathroom for convenience.
*Fully equipped open plan kitchen, scullery and dining room with spectacular views!
Clarens is a small town situated in the foothills of the Maluti Mountains in the Free State province of South Africa and nicknamed the "Jewel of the Eastern Free State"
Property Facilities:*An outside built-in braai/barbecue on the upstairs deck, for awesome get-togethers and watching the golden sunsets. We also have tables and chairs to enjoy meals together.

Rhino Retreat is beautifully appointed in every respect. Dream house, lux decor. Added bonus; it is pet friendly. Our two fur babies loved every moment. Bev has been a wonderful host. Wish we could come regularly. Blown away!!
What a beautiful house just on the edge of town in Clarens.
Stayed during the beer festival and we still had peace and quiet when we wanted it.
I will definitely return here.

Variety
Main roads to town are recommended for daylight use only. Small town atmosphere but with a wide variety of activities and stores. The annual Titanic Challenge Trail Run was my main attraction - stunning views!
Everything....food, quality of shops...felt safe...clean...friendly people....
Love all the shops and restaurants there is. Surrounded by mountains. Perfect breakaway for winter or summer.

Small, quaint, but very lively little town with spectacular views all around. Hiking is a must and can be done on the edge of town. We stayed at Views and the hiking trail was on our back door. Beautiful, beautiful little town offering great food, culture, entertainment and beautiful hiking trails.
