Welgeluk Feather Palace also known as Welgeluk Ostrich Feather Palace. This newly renovated sandstone house was built in 1910 during the feather boom and was proclaimed a national monument in 1979.
Nestled in the heart of the Klein Karoo, Welgeluk Feather Palace provides bed and breakfast accommodation in a truly nature lovers and bird watching experience.
Welgeluk Feather Palace offers 5 luxurious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and is situated on a working ostrich farm (Safari Ostrich Farm). Enjoy beautiful mountain views and sunsets from our porch!
In Room Facilities:Each room has a extra length King-size Bed (except Guy's room which is a regular length King-size Bed which can be converted into a Twin Bed). All rooms have their own en-suite bathroom as well as all the necessary facilities and amenities such as free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, a kitchenette with tea & coffee facilities as well as a bar fridge, flat-screen TV with satellite channels (DStv), a safe, a hairdryer and toiletries.

Well-located guest house close to town in a lovely historic setting. Room was very comfortable and spacious with Nespresso machine and bar fridge. The hosts were friendly and relaxed and made you feel at home. Would definitely visit again.
