Turaco Guesthouse is situated in St Lucia, KwaZulu-Natal. Turaco will give any guest who visits a peaceful and fully rested break away from home. Choose between our 4 luxurious bedrooms. Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast each morning on our lovely open deck overlooking the swimming pool with monkeys playing and birds singing in the trees.
In Room Facilities:All rooms are fitted with an air-conditioner. There is also a refrigerator, coffee tea making area, amenities, towels, hairdryer, USB outlet, en-suite bathroom and patio. Each room has its own private entrance.
Area Information:St Lucia, situated in a world heritage site, has numerous restaurants, shops and a craft market. Walking through the neighborhood during the day, monkeys, mongooses, red duiker and bushbuck can be observed. The really fortunate can see the lone leopard on a morning stroll or even the famous hippo's of our town. The nearby white sand beaches is the perfect place to enjoy a day out at the seaside. St Lucia is an excellent bird watching area and on the hiking trails various species of wildlife can be observed. Fishing, hiking, mountain biking, snorkeling, game drives makes part of activities in our proud little town.

We had a fantastic experience. The host Marlize was excellent, professional, caring and went out of her way to accommodate us. Breakfast on the first day was divine, and because we left early on the next day, they graciously offered to pack us a breakfast basket for the road with delicious treat. Housekeeping made sure we felt at ease in terms of the pandemic, and the room was spotless. They offered us in room sanitizers too. From the moment we arrived until we left, we felt like royalty. The host even granted us the special request to have our African Grey travel with us at no extra charge. We love St Lucia and have stayed here before, and in searching for accommodation the host's prompt response via AfriStay was what hooked us. Before arrival we received text messages confirming our arrival. We were kept in the loop throughout the booking process and before arrival. Payment on AfriStay was easy and the whole booking experience comfortable. The photos reflected the property exactly as is, which is often not the case elsewhere, but what we saw is what we got and we were very happy to say the least. If you're looking for first class service, world class comfort and a destination where you don't have to worry about the pandemic, Turaco B&B is it. We never felt uncomfortable or worried about our health. If you wish to travel, you MUST visit this stunning B&B in St Lucia. Five stars - we would've given 10 if there were more!!! A highly recommended venue.

We went to St Lucia Villa Mia 5 to recover after operation. Absolutely beautiful place. Our own private braai area right at pool. Due to my medical condition we could not go out but our hosts arranged food delivery for us from nearly all the restaurants in St Lucia. One night there was guests that were intoxicated and loud. We informed our hosts who in return got the caretaker at the property in minutes and he resolved the issue. Will definitely book again. Thanks to the workers at Villa Mia that were always willing to run and get us something we needed in town. It felt like home and we will always remember our trip. Next time we will definitely visit all the attractions that St Lucia has to offer.
