Night drives, walking safaris and White Rhino Tracking can be arranged. Our birdlife is exceptional with over 350 species recorded.
The reserve is composed of a wide variety of habitat types and is home to a large diversity of animal and plant life. The Zululand Rhino Reserve was initially established as a part of World Wildlife Fund's black rhino range expansion program. A population of these endangered rhinos were introduced to the game reserve and have been thriving ever since. At Rhino River Lodge we are frequently priviledged with sightings of black rhino on our game drives.
