Buffalo Ridge is spectacularly positioned on the Tweedepoort Ridge overlooking the plains and inselbergs of the Madikwe Game Reserve. A uniquely designed ‘Treehouse’ style lodge offers space, comfort and views forever, a kitchen that is renowned for its sumptuous cuisine, and chalets of charm and character.
In Room Facilities:Each has its own private viewing deck, each decorated in natural hues of colour and texture, offering a private and luxurious experience.Each chalet is large and spacious designed to make the most of the spectacular views across the reserve. With sliding doors from each room and shower to the outside deck, our guests can experience a personal and intimate encounter with nature.
Area Information:Open vehicle game drives, walks, tracking, stargazing, bush dining, birding, botany interests. Madikwe is home to a tremendous diversity of fauna and flora, including both the black and white rhino, buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog.

What an amazing experience; Buffalo Ridge Lodge has it all! Fantastic game viewing with Israel, with close-ups with wild dogs, lions, a leopard and many others animals to a caring, intimate, service oriented Lodge staff, where nothing was too much to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We’ll be back!
