Coddiwomple Cottage is nestled in the heart of the historical village, Kaapsche Hoop, which lies at the top of the escarpment of Mpumalanga.
Our double storey, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home sleeps 4 (with the option of adding another 2 guests comfortably). We boast the best views and easy access to the magnificent field of granite rocks which spread south east to the edge of picturesque escarpment only 1.2km away.
Access onto the main village road from one side of the property makes it easy to take a stroll through the village to visit the historical sites, restaurants, pubs and shops, while our private parking and home entrance on Klip street ensure you can have a peaceful and private stay.
Looking down over the De Kaap Valey from one of the view points, it is hard to imagine how such an historical village, such as this, has remained hidden and almost untouched. Here the mist rolls in at any time of the day and the wild horses still roam the quiet streets.
Kaapsche Hoop has something for everyone; the young and old, the adventurous and those just looking to relax in natural beauty.
With so much to see and do in and around Kaapsche Hoop, one is always drawn back to find something more.
Coddiwomple Cottage is perfectly situated for stop overs during trips to Swaziland, Mozambique, Kruger National Park and just CODDIWOMPLING.
