Summer time - The flower season in the karoo is also very beautiful. You are most welcome to come and visit us and enjoy Spring/flower season and have some summer fun as well on the farm .Very safe for everyone, children can run around and enjoy the open areas of the farm. Enjoy the Sheep around the house. Just sit back and relax or go for a lovely walk on the farm, breathe fresh karoo air. Swim and refresh in the plaasdam, row the boat and enjoy bird life on the large dam , flamingo, bleshoender, etc.

Located in the Northern Cape the town was established in 1855 around the Dutch Reformed Church.
Today Sutherland is mainly a sheep farming area with its focus on tourism as it provides visitors with a clear night sky’s ideal for feeling “closer” to the universe via its magnificent Observatory – the largest telescope in the Southern Hemisphere. Visitors flock here from all over just for this even in winter!

Relaxation, peace and quiet starry nights and lovely walking trails. A beautiful veld explore experience. It was lovely and the very best most friendly hosts. A must for a weekend getaway. Near Cape Town 300km. Quick and easy. Enjoy.
