Welcome to Paddahoek Cottage,
Paddahoek Cottage is an off grid, authentic, comfortable stone cottage located on a quiet country lane in Vermaaklikheid.
Thick stone walls, a high ceiling and a thatch roof keeps the building cool in summer. For Winter warmth there is a closed door fireplace. The lawn area has been fenced, so dogs are allowed, provided they are well behaved and friendly and do not chase or harass wild or domestic animals. Bath and two plate cooking hob are driven by gas. LED Lights and 300L fridge, freezer powered by the sun (no Eskom power cuts here).
Guests have 2 options with sleeping arrangements. Guests can either utilise the queen-size bed on the mezzanine level, which is accessed by a ladder, and 2 single beds on the ground floor. The other option is to join the 2 single beds and add a king-size duvet on the ground level; with the loft bedroom functioning with a queen-size bed and 2 single duvets.
For Internet and telecoms access, we provide a cell phone signal booster (up to 3G). Guests will need to use your own cell phone and data.
