Welcome to Antares Bush Camp & Safaris!
The beautiful Antares Bush Camp is an owner run exclusive 3-star graded, 10-bed self-catering lodge located within the Grietjie Private Nature Reserve. The lodge offers 5 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, including inside and outside showers. Two of the bedrooms combine to create a possible family room. Two of the rooms with 2 single beds can be converted into king size beds on request prior arrangement.
The main lounge area and fully equipped kitchen boasts beautiful high ceilings and ample space to ensure that you have an enjoyable and memorable stay. Outside there is a boma area and a small plunge pool, both overlooking the busy waterhole where frequent viewing of elephants can be seen.
Just a 30m walk from the pool leads you down to our very special underground hide offering you an opportunity to view the beautiful wildlife from ground level and just a few feet away from you. The hide is accessible at any time of day or night, however we do advise caution if walking down to it at night, and the use of a powerful torch is encouraged. We also offer two other platforms within the camp gardens for stunning photographic opportunities.
The camp is ideally suited to families and small groups, especially those with photographic safaris top of the agenda.
