Welcome to Iona @ Skye,
Iona @ Skye is an original labourers’ cottage, built in the 19th century.
The cottage has a separate bedroom with a double bed and an open plan living area that includes a sleeper couch. Parking is in a locked up garage with street access.
The cottage is in a quiet part of the village, and opens on to the street front and behind it is a private and secluded courtyard, close to natural Karoo veld, with good walking paths.

The perfect little slice of heaven! Iona cottage is absolutely gorgeous, well managed and equipped with everything you need. Walking distance to everything and also in the quieter area of the town. Penny was super helpful and friendly, and I will definitely be back! Thank you ✨

Peaceful & quiet town set among beautiful scenery! Best for weekend visits! Tabaldi's restaurant at Temenos Retreat is a must for delicious food and fine dining.
McGregor is very very quiet midweek, would like to visit again at the weekend to see if it comes alive.
Enough good food and wine to enjoy without being commercialized and touristy. Enjoyed the countryside and being “away from it all”.
