Enjoying a view of the Swartberge, The Joint Backpackers offers guests comfortably furnished backpacker accommodation just 2 km from the centre of Oudtshoorn.
The backpackers offer guests a choice of booking rooms, bungalows or caravans, all of which share the use of a kitchenette, and ablution facilities.
Each Deck room has 2 single beds in it. St. James Bungalow 1 is a family bungalow with a double bed and a double bunk bed inside. St. James Bungalow 2 has two single beds in it. The Boere caravan sleeps 4 people (2 adults and 2 children). The Reggae caravan sleeps 2 people. The communal ablution facilities have 4 showers and 4 toilets.
Guests have access to the communal kitchenette, which is equipped with a microwave oven, a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a kettle, gas stove and cutlery.
Communal braai facilities, swimming pool, Wi-Fi and parking for 8 vehicles are available.
Oudtshoorn offers a variety of popular attractions such as the Cango Wildlife Ranch, the Cango Ostrich Farm, the world-famous Cango Caves, and the CP Nel and CJ Langenhoven museums. There are also several walking, hiking, mountain bike and 4x4 routes in the area.
Our cozy Deck rooms, Bungalows, and Caravans are located on a quiet private property surrounded by fresh air and mountains.
Our accommodation includes clean and tidy bathroom facilities, braai facilities, swimming pool, Wi-Fi and flatware in our communal basic kitchenette, equipped with a kettle, gas stove, fridge and microwave.
