Offering a unique glamping stay, The Magical Teepee Experience is situated in the charming town of Hogsback. The property boasts Native American tented accommodation, and is the ideal base from which to visit the town’s facilities and surrounding attractions.
Each unique and rustic, yet romantic tent can accommodate 2 guests and features a private bathroom, a super-comfy sofa or armchairs, an original wood-burning Mexican Chimenea, and a well-equipped kitchenette to prepare and cook meals, and a deck overlooking the indigenous garden and property. On a clear night, guests can gaze at a million stars while lying in their bed with the teepee’s smoke flaps open, or sitting on the deck with a yummy beverage in their hands.
Guests can visit the town’s facilities, or explore the nearby scenic walking and hiking trails in the area. The nearest major airports are either East London Airport or Port Elizabeth International Airport, located approximately 143 km to 269 km away.

Spacious teepee with very clean amenities. Loved the setup. Fire chiminea kept us warm and very easy to use. Anderson, the groundsman was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Private bathroom per teepee which was amazing.
Only negatives - Trucks and heavy machinery up and down the road a few meters behind the teepee's waking us up really early (not peaceful).
Bathroom is also a walk away which is fine during the day, but not ideal when it's 2 degrees at night.
Overall loved the experience and how clean everything is.

The serenity, cleanliness, friendly people and just the overall beauty of nature in Hogsback.
Lots of lovely hikes in calm and quiet place. Just beware of the amount and severity of the potholes throughout the town, even in an SUV you are most certainly going to feel them and you certainly can't avoid them all. Go for the quiet and the beauty of the forests.
