Anchors Aweigh 19 is a self-catering holiday home located in Wood Grange, Hibberdene. The unit is situated in the Anchors Aweigh family resort, next to the Mzimayi river. This is a semi-disability-friendly unit, it has a stairlift installed for disabled or elderly people.
Our JoJo tank is a 2500 backup for municipality water shortages and we have a inverter backup system to work the TV's, fans, lights and kettle, it is not for major appliances and other kitchen appliances.
The house can accommodate up to 8 guests. and comprises 4 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and a TV with a smart media box offering full DStv and Netflix access. The second bedroom is furnished with a futon couch. The third bedroom contains a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and equipped with a washing machine. The fourth bedroom is downstairs and has a bunk bed for kids. The guest bathroom is fitted with a corner bath. All areas in the unit have fans, and the lounge and kitchen are open-plan.
All rooms including the lounge and kitchen have mosquito lamps.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a stove, oven, fridge, freezer, percolator, microwave, sandwicher, air frying, electric frying pan, tumble-dryer, more than enough cutlery and crockery. The lounge has a comfy lounge suite and a TV with a smart media box offering full DStv, Netflix and many multiple streaming apps for young and old access to entertain.
There is a patio on the ground floor with 8 seater patio set as well as a built-in braai, the area has large canvas windows if you feel that it is a bit windy. The top balcony is also fitted with patio furniture for late afternoon or evening drinks.
