Ecolux Boutique Hotels started when Johan & Vonja Coetzee, the husband and wife team, designed and built their first boutique hotel in the small town of Komatipoort bordering the Kruger National Park and the Mozambique border.
In 2017 an opportunity presented itself for Ecolux Boutique Hotel to be built across the border in Mozambique with the idea of creating a ‘BUSH TO BEACH’ experience for their guests. Ecolux Boutique Hotel Mozambique was built in 2019 opening with 4 luxury rooms, 2 garden suites one of which is a wheelchair friendly and 2 honeymoon suites.The property also boasts an outdoor spa, indoor restaurant and bar as well as 2 conference centers.
