A Bird Cage Stay & Cottage offers guests cosy, self-catering accommodation in the quaint town of Haenertsburg, 1 km from the centre of town.
Guests have a choice of booking the 2-sleeper cottage or the 8-sleeper main house. The sunny cottage is separate from the rest of the property and offers a bedroom with a queen-size bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 2-plate stove, fridge, and microwave. A private braai area is available for guests to use.
The spacious main house is designed with a spectacular interior of the late safari colonial style. The main bedroom offers a queen-size bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed, while the third is furnished with 2 single beds as well as a TV. The rooms share the use of a bathroom with a shower.
The house’s open-plan kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, microwave, and fridge. The living area has got a cosy fireplace that warms the cold Hartsburg weather, and in the daytime, the sunroom is perfect for relaxing, and dining and is also fitted with a working desk.
