Simbavati River Sands enjoys a unique setting on the banks of the Kruger Park’s Nhlaralumi River in the Timbavati Private Game Reserve, and guests can watch elephants drink from the comfort of the dining deck.
The villa is warm and welcoming and consists of two bedrooms privately situated, opening onto a beautiful game viewing deck with a riverfront view. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed, and the second bedroom contains twin beds. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a bath and double rain shower.
Breakfast and lunch are served daily outside on the wooden deck, set out under age-old Jackalberry and Leadwood trees, combining African and Western cuisine offering exciting new tastes for the more adventurous as well as for the more conventional preferences. A traditional dinner is served around the campfire in an open-air boma, an experience not to be missed.
This Villa has a broad appeal, with a traditional safari ambience but with a relaxed contemporary twist in terms of décor. It caters well to couples and honeymooners with a safari spa and a fully equipped fitness centre.
One of Simbavati River Sands’ winning charms is the popular waterhole right below the dining deck, much loved by elephants. Between game drives, you could enjoy a game-viewing experience of note just sitting on the deck as wildlife comes and goes from the water.

Hoedspruit Reviews
Beautiful and Clean, pity a place like Mali Mali can upset a persons Holiday... an event that was meant to be legendary! Mali Mali is not as per there website... they manipulate the internet!
The nature.
Morokologa game reserve, we spend our Christmas at the camp and we had a beautiful game drive and morning walks with my grandmother. Played games and reconnected as a family.
Most of Gold cabins- the weather - the sound of the birds-
Since we have family and old colleagues in Hoedspruit we enjoy everything. Love going to Hoedspruit for a weekend break away.
The quietness.
It’s a beautiful town which is easily accessible and has all the convenient shopping around the lodges nearby and one is able to do various activities around the area.
