Welcome to Die Uilhuisie,
This quaint little two bedroom cottage is securely tucked away deep in the heart of our veld. You will have sweeping sunset views right up to the Riviersonderend Mountain range, which in mid-winter, is covered in snow. This cottage is completely off the grid with a heated pool and indoor fireplace braai. Our Nguni cattle and family of Eland might pay you a visit during your stay. Your private Labyrinth is just a stone throw away.
Only two hours drive from Cape Town, just outside the picturesque village of Bonnievale. Completely self catering, although we could stock the fridge and pantry with fresh Bonnievale produce, including wine. Braai wood and utensils, the best linen and towels, Nespresso machine and wifi are all included during your visit.
Ideal for Romantic getaways or just a recharge weekend.

Bonnievale Reviews
Great Wine farms, not to many people..
Natural beauty and adequate shops, wine and cheese.
great camping

The nature and views are incredible.
I liked the scenic Tradouw Pass, visited the waterfall, and Die Drupkelder cave.
We had lunch at Diesel & Creme. Very impressed with their food once again.
We also visited Ronnies Sex Shop. Nice novelty pub to visit.
The mountains, nostalgia, cheese and wine...Van Loveren the best!
We enjoyed lunch at Viljoensdrift and Catharinas and also having dinner on the private patio watching the sun set over the mountains. The King size bed was super comfortable and the large fenced garden made it very private for us and our scotty dogs.
It’s a beautiful place!
Exploring the area, friendliness in the area.
Small town but not much to see.
