Magnifik Montagu is a 1.1 hectare working Pecan, Fig, Olive & Fruit Farm conveniently situated in the heart of Montagu Town itself, off the scenic R62 (just 2.5 hours drive from Cape Town) This beautifully designed house is nestled amongst the fig trees, strategically positioned to allow for privacy, while offering breathtaking uninterrupted views of the Langeberg Mountain Range. This luxury self-catering villa caters for 4 people , with easy & safe walking distance to the centre of town and all it has to offer.
The spacious villa comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a large open-plan living area with fold away glass doors opening to both the veranda and entrance courtyard. Modern kitchen, dining area and lounge with mountain views throughout. The rooms are furnished with comfortable king-size or queen-size beds and have en-suite bathrooms with a bath and an indoor shower, with doors opening to a private courtyard with an outdoor shower.
The modern kitchen is equipped with a Smeg 5 plate gas hob and electric oven, Smeg microwave, fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities and the necessary cutlery, crockery, pots and pans. A separate scullery with a dishwasher and washing machine are also available for guests to use. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table, overlooking the courtyard and patio with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, and relax in the lounge which has comfortable seating, a TV with DStv and Netflix.
The living area opens onto a patio with cosy outdoor chairs, overlooking the swimming pool, garden and the lapa with its built in firepit and pizza oven.

Came up to Montagu for a climbing course with Blue Mountain Adventures and stayed at the Tolhuis with two friends. It was just perfect. Firstly the location, it was only mere meters away from our first day's location for climbing , LEGOLAND. We could literally stop and walk up to our accommodation for a coffee and lunch break! The place itself was just perfect for the 3 of us. Great little braai area where we enjoyed our evenings and the place is simple and humble yet stylish! The hosts, Michelle, Ivan, and Jason their 6-month-old puppy were just very warm and accommodating. Thank you!
