Located in the Pride of Africa Nature Reserve, NAKO Safari Lodge offers guests a lovely bushveld getaway just 16 km from Hammanskraal.
The multi-storey, air-conditioned lodge offers 5 suites comprising 2 suites with king-size beds and 3 suites with a king-size and 2 single beds and bathrooms fitted with baths and showers, as well as outdoor showers. Guests can relax in the spacious living room which offers comfortable seating in front of the fireplace or TV and an indoor dining area.
The living area opens onto the covered patio with an outdoor dining table overlooking the inviting, heated swimming pool and sunloungers, and from here guests can enjoy the scenery and view the roaming game. At night guests can relax around the firepit and watch the starry skies.
NAKO Safari Lodge can be booked on a full board basis which includes 3 meals, snacks and 2 game drives, but excludes drinks. For those who prefer self-catering, guests can bring their own groceries and have the NAKO staff prepare everything for them.

"NAKO Safari Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way! From the warm welcome with refreshing hand towels to the luxurious amenities, we felt pampered throughout our stay. The lodge's architecture is a masterpiece, blending stone, cement, and thatch roofs to create a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors.
Our room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with thoughtful touches like warm water bottles and comfortable bedding. The indoor shower was a delight, and the patio offered stunning views of the waterhole, where we spotted an array of wildlife, including buffalo, hyenas, and rhinos.
Dean, our exceptional ranger, led us on three thrilling game drives, where we witnessed incredible sights, such as elephant matriarchs protecting their young, rhinos with babies, and a lion stalking its prey. The lodge's playroom and table tennis kept our son entertained, and the serene dam with hippos and a croc was a treat.
Leancha and Stella's culinary skills are unmatched! We savored every bite of their delicious meals, especially the bobotie jaffles, butternut soup, and creme brulee. The boma braai overlooking the waterhole was a highlight, with a three-course meal that left us spoiled and content.
Our stay at NAKO Safari Lodge was truly unforgettable, a serene escape where time stood still. We can't wait to return and experience it all again!"

The Area is lovely, the local Brewery for lunch good. Rus Tevrede not an option.
The area was beautiful with animals roaming across the road.
