The Karoo Poort Guesthouse is conveniently located along the R60 and just 2 km from the N1 in the heart of Worcester. Worcester is a town situated in the Cape Winelands of the Western Cape, 120 km from Cape Town. It lies in the Breede River Valley, between the rugged Du Toitskloof and Hex River mountains. The Worcester region accounts for about 20 percent of the country’s vineyards, making it one of South Africa's most important wine-producing areas. It is especially noted for its dry and semi-sweet white wines, dessert wines and brandy. The town is also a well-known education centre, and the Nuwe Hoop Centre for the Hearing Impaired, the Institute for the Blind and the Institute for the Deaf are located here. Worcester Reviews
There is a lot of favorites, the wine farms for wine tasting, the museum to visit. Lots of restaurants to pick from.
So green and luscious, with such stunning views!
Worcester is a friendly town that still exudes old world charm but also has delightful new places like the Daly Bread bakery. It has beautiful surroundings and one can't help but feel relaxed and rejuventated upon visiting. It is only an hour and a half from Cape Town. Well worth a visit!
Worcester has less traffic, surrounded by beautiful mountains. Fields all around creates a very sight-seeing view.
