Little Mongena Tented Camp, set on the banks of the Mongena Dam, is a luxury and intimate lodge situated within a private concession of 8 500ha within the greater 18 500ha Dinokeng Game Reserve, a mere 90 minute drive from OR Tambo International Airport. The bushveld is pristine and is home to not only the Big 5 which are free-roaming, but also boasts a diverse general plains game population and abundant birdlife.
Morning and Evening safari game drives are conducted in dedicated 10-seater game drive vehicles and our shangaan trackers and field guides are sure to make each game drive a memorable experience.
The lodge comprises of a main area which includes an informal lounge, bar facility, swimming pool and open air Boma. Accommodation is in the form of 10 luxury tents accommodating up to 20 guests sharing. Each tent features a patio, tea / coffee making facilities, mini-safe, air-conditioning and en-suite bathroom.

I enjoyed the self-game driving, though I only saw 2 of the Big 5's next time I'll use the Game Rangers drive... I also loved the picnic sighting the food there it's very nice and tasty...
