The self-catering Barnhouse is set ideally located on an exclusive Big 5 wilderness area of 4,000 ha within the greater Dinokeng Game Reserve. The house is an approximate 6 kms from Mongena main lodge and consists of 2 bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, kingsize double bed which can be made up in single configuration. One of the bedrooms has an additional single bed. Bedlinen, towels and fans/heater in the bedrooms are provided.
The fully equipped open plan kitchen is shared with the lounge leading onto a spacious patio overlooking the plains of the Dinokeng Game Reserve. The scullery area has a fridge/freezer combination with a microwave, kettle and thermo-fan oven/hob in the kitchen.
The lounge boasts a TV with DSTV channels. The lapa and braai area is situated adjacent to the covered patio.
The house is solar powered with a back-up generator. Firewood and ice at additional cost can be pre-ordered; enquire with booking. A daily cleaning service can be requested at no extra charge.

The Area is lovely, the local Brewery for lunch good. Rus Tevrede not an option.
The area was beautiful with animals roaming across the road.
We love nature and all the Animals.
