The Noordoewer Self Catering Chalets are fully equipped self-catering chalets located in the town of Noordoewer which lies on the Orange River on the border of Namibia and South Africa.
Accommodation is provided in 5 modern and spacious self-catering chalets, each with an open-plan layout. The chalets are air-conditioned, and each contain a work desk or dressing table, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a dining table and chairs, and a kitchenette fitted with a 2-plate hob, fridge, microwave, and kettle. One of the chalets is ideal for a family and has a lounge area with a sleeper couch as well as a bunk bed for 2 children, and also a bath. Each chalet opens to its own private patio with a picnic bench and a built-in braai facility. Wood, firelighters and a braai grid are provided on arrival. Secure parking is provided.
The chalets are located on the same premises as Orange River Shell Service Station with a 24-hour convenience shop, where guests can fuel up for their travels.
Check in and collection of keys are to be done at the shop of the Shell service station. Management is on site until 19h00, thereafter cashiers or fuel attendants will assist guests to their chalets. Should you experience any problems, please contact the owner immediately.

Noordoewer is a settlement in the Karas Region of southern Namibia. Its name means 'North Bank' in Afrikaans, in reference to the northern bank of the Orange River, on which it is located. Noordoewer, the border post between Namibia and South Africa, is perched a short stretch away from the flowing waters of the Orange River.
Noordoewer lies opposite the South African town of Vioolsdrif, to which it is connected by the road bridge which forms the northern end of the South African N7 and the southern end of the Namibian B1.
Noordoewer is known for grape production and canoeing and is an important border post on a crucial transport route between the two countries.
