Situated in Upington in the heart of the Green Kalahari, Northern Cape, Le Bonheur Manor is a lovely river-front guesthouse within easy walking distance of the central business district, making it an ideal stop-over for both business and leisure travellers.
The double-storey guesthouse is set in lush gardens overlooking the Orange River and offers guests a choice of lovely rooms that can comfortably accommodate between 2 to 4 people. The air-conditioned rooms are furnished with king-size, queen-size, double or twin beds with white percale linen and have private or shared bathrooms with baths and showers.
The rooms are equipped with TVs with selected DStv channels, tea and coffee facilities and Wi-Fi access. One of the rooms opens onto a balcony with views of the garden and river with outdoor seating while some have bar fridges and private entrances.
The main downstairs lounge area has a cosy fireplace and is decorated with a selection of contemporary furniture and modern South African art. Breakfast is available on request at an additional cost and will be served in the dining area.
Le Bonheur Manor is the ideal place for small functions and guests at the manor can enjoy relaxing in the tranquil gardens. Secure parking is available.

Great weather. Stayed at Modern Executive Apartment in Schröder street. Beautiful, peaceful and safe place. I enjoyed the friendly people of Upington and the nice restaurants. Mr D also delivered promptly. Will be back again.

The people seem friendlier and more polite than the city folks. The atmosphere seems relatively low-stressed.
Great mall and friendly people in Upington.
Upington is one of my favorite towns in South Africa. It is pristine, clean, people are friendly and helpful. Lots of things to do. Plenty accommodation to choose from. A perfect stop-over to and from Namibia.
Good to visit my birth town and see the growth.
