Centrally located in Upington, Bain's House offers grand-style luxury, privacy and tranquillity and the moment you enter the guest house through the big double doors, you are greeted by an indoor waterfall and fishpond.
Guests have a choice of lovely rooms that can accommodate between 2 to 4 people, each with an en-suite bathroom. Great weather. Stayed at Modern Executive Apartment in Schröder street. Beautiful, peaceful and safe place. I enjoyed the friendly people of Upington and the nice restaurants. Mr D also delivered promptly. Will be back again.
Has everything you'd need to top up or get on your way to Namibia, Botswana, or the far west coast. Amazing stat-over options, and amazing people.

The scenery.
The people seem friendlier and more polite than the city folks. The atmosphere seems relatively low-stressed.
Great mall and friendly people in Upington.
Upington is one of my favorite towns in South Africa. It is pristine, clean, people are friendly and helpful. Lots of things to do. Plenty accommodation to choose from. A perfect stop-over to and from Namibia.
Good to visit my birth town and see the growth.
