Tambomaji River Lodge is situated on the banks of the Olifants River, in the Greater Kruger Park, openly connected to the world-renowned Kruger National Park. We are part of Balule Game Reserve and within a Big 5 area, where you will hear hippos during the night.
Accommodation is offered in self-catering cottages, Hippo Cottage an 8-sleeper cottage and Croc Cottage a 6-sleeper cottage. Each cottage offers comfortable bedrooms, private bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living area, a private pool and free Wi-Fi internet access.
Guests are welcome to unwind at the in-house bar or lounge. A housekeeping service is available.

The Balule Game Reserve shares an unfenced border with the renowned Kruger National Park. Balule Game Reserve forms part of the Greater Kruger Park, an open conserved area of approximately 23,000 square kilometres, along the Olifants River. The reserve is only an hour's drive from two of the main gates to the Kruger National Park. The game viewing experience is excellent with the presence of the Big 5 and all other species. It is also well known for exceptional bird watching.
