The Vogue - Timeless Elegance with its two gables, leans itself to the old Cape building style of the early 1900s with modern facilities reminiscent of a glorious and timeless lifestyle of days gone by. Situated in Robertson, the heart of the Cape Winelands, guests have easy access to explore Route 62, the longest wine route in the world.
The Vogue - Timeless Elegance offers guests a choice of booking the spacious 10-sleeper holiday home, The Vogue - Villa, or the cosy 4-sleeper cottage, The Vogue - The Cottage.
The Vogue - Villa comprises 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a cosy lounge as well as a study. One of the rooms contains a super king-size bed with an en-suite shower, while the second offers a queen-size bed. The third bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed while the fourth contains 2 single beds. The last room contains a bunk bed for 2 and the rooms share a bathroom with a shower. Quality linen is provided in all the rooms.
The well-equipped and spacious kitchen offers a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, ice maker, SMEG coffee percolator, Nespresso machine and dishwasher. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the adjoining laundry room and the pantry provides adequate space for grocery storage.
The home offers a study and the elegant lounge features a TV, allowing guests to relax during lazy evenings and provide comfort during rainy and cold days. Uninterrupted Wi-Fi is available and a mini-library bookshelf packed with many treasures awaits those who prefer escaping to the pages of a book. During hot summer days and nights, the heat is quenched with an air-conditioner. In winter when the clouds draw near, two fireplaces in the house sufficiently provide the necessary heat and ambience. Guests have a private patio overlooking the garden and braai facilities.
The elegantly furnished The Vogue - The Cottage can accommodate 4 people and has a private entrance. The unit is furnished with a king-size and a double bed, with quality linen. The separate bathroom is fitted with a shower and a toilet.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, microwave, tea and coffee facilities and a fridge-freezer. In the separate scullery, there are shelves provided as pantry space with adequate space to store groceries. The lounge has comfortable seating, and in winter, a gas heater provides the cottage with sufficient heat. Wi-Fi is available but is affected by load shedding. Braai facilities are available.
Guests are not allowed to smoke indoors but a designated smoking area is provided. Please note the premises are shared between the villa and cottage and guests are asked to respect the other's privacy and treat one another with the utmost respect.
There is secure garage parking and well-lit open-air parking is provided behind an electric fence.

Ek is gebore en getoeë van Robertson. Dit sal altyd my hartsplekkie wees. Was aangenaam verras om Die Laaitjie op jul webtuiste te sien. Dit was oorspronklik my oorlede pa se suster en haar man se plaas. My pa het op die aangrensende plaas geboer. Ek en my broers het saam met die neefs Die Laaitjie plat gespeel. Die waterval was daardie jare al 'n groot aantrekkingskrag vir kuiergaste. Oujaarsaande is groot makietie hier gehou. Selfs die dorps inwoners het kom meedoen. Dankie vir die mooi fotos. Ek kon so bietjie in my kinderskoene terug stap.
