Butjani Lodge offers comfortable guest chalets and is located on a 650-hectare private nature reserve, 49 km from central Cullinan. The lodge is on the Dinokeng tourist route, with a perennial river and various plains game and birds to view. The lodge is 130 km from Sandton and 75 km from Pretoria.
Accommodation comprises various thatched-roof chalets. Each chalet features a private bathroom. In addition, each chalet contains a bar fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and a deck with seating overlooking the bushveld. Some chalets feature an outdoor shower.
As the sun sets, head off for a game drive and sundowner in the bush, returning to the lapa for drinks and rounding off the day with a hearty three-course dinner. Special diets can be accommodated. All hearty meals are home-cooked by our experienced staff. Guests can also take leisure walks with a bird book and binoculars, which is a popular activity.

The Cottage was not in Cullinan but very close, we did not visit Cullinan but will do next time.
Lots of hidden Gems, small town with a lot of love in it. I’d say spend a week there - exploring and enjoying what the small town has to offer

Cullinan is a little sweet town, great restaurants. Very nice to relax. Very nice gift shops, great friendly people. There is great history and nice places to look at. Very nice for a get away weekend.
Spa & Golf!
The little town is so vibrant and full of life. We really enjoyed all of the little shops and the hospitality. We especially enjoyed Opistasie Bar and restaurant, such a lovely set up and truly authentic. The Warehouse was a lovely touch as well.
